Finance Information, including Tuition Fees, payment of fees, Fee policy and Bursary and Scholarship Information
All fees and charges are for the full academic year unless otherwise stated. Each academic year begins on the 1 August.

Students are personally responsible for ensuring that all fees and charges, including any fees payable by sponsors, are paid in accordance with the requirements set out in this document. In completing registration a student accepts and enters a contract with Bath Spa University to pay the fees and charges for the duration of their study in accordance with these regulations. In the event of any fee-paying body (including family members) not making a payment on a student's behalf, the student immediately becomes liable for the payment due.

The Finance terms and conditions set out in this document is the contract between the student and the University. The Finance terms are legally binding. Accepting the terms and conditions commits the students to the stated terms and conditions and gives the University authority to obtain and hold data in accordance with Bath Spa University Data Protection Policy. This authority also allows the University to employ tracing and/or debt recovery agents to obtain information, should it become necessary.

Students are reminded that they must notify the University immediately if there is any change to either their home or term time address. Students should use the Student Portal to notify a change of address. The University's student database and the Finance system will automatically update and the addresses to which communications are sent will be changed

Communications are frequently emailed to students using their Bath Spa email account and students should note that it is their responsibility to check their email accounts on a regular basis. Posted communications from Finance are normally sent to the student's term time address during the standard term and to the home address at other times. However, Finance reserve the right to send communications to either or both addresses at any time, as appropriate and where specific individual circumstances dictate.

It is to be expected that tuition, accommodation fees and all other charges will increase on an annual basis.

All payments made to the University in respect of student fees, fines and other charges must be made in £ sterling.
