（http://www.liuxue360.com/au/miller-is/）said: The purpose of the IEC is to provide intensive English support for newly-arrived, high school aged students, including international students. Year 6 students may also apply to enrol in the IEC.
Students usually stay in the IEC for approximately three to four terms. During this time, they receive intensive English instruction as well as lessons in subjects including:
Mathematics,Science,Physical Education,Social Studies,Technology,Home Economics,Industrial Arts,Drama and Music.
